Выбор профессии – Occupational choice
It’s rather difficult to choose the career or a future profession. There’re lucky people who chose their profession when they were children.
Many people continue careers of their parents or grandparents. Usually a pupil’s plans for the future change many times during the school years. There’re so many people who influence you in choosing your occupation. Parents and friends play a very important role in your choice.
Teachers’ influence on pupils’ minds is also great. Occupation you want to devote your life to has to bring you satisfaction or at least good salary. But actually it should be something you can do and you really want to do.
When you leaveschool you understand that the time to choose your future profession has come. It’s not easy task to make the right choice of a job.
I study 3 foreign languages and I think to become an interpreter. Have you ever considered becoming interpreter? There’re many advantages
Furthermore it’s interesting, as the life is different every day, not a minute of boredom. Also this job needs a lot of skills, perfect knowledge, as you can interpret for people from different spheres of like business, tourism, politics, economics, sports etc.
Moreover you seem to learn and go on self-improving all the time.
At last it’s great being ale to help people from different countries to understand each other. It’s like being a guide between 2 countries what’s more it’s quite prestigious and well-paid.
However there’re some disadvantages which I’m aware of. Firstly it can be quite tiring, because you have to work long unsteady hours. In addition to this it can be quite stressful, because you have to live out of a suitcase and e ready to move at a short notice.
All things considered, becoming an interpreter is a great challenge for me, because I appreciate the advantages of this job, though aware of its drawbacks.
